Schubert-Pharma at PACK EXPO International 2026

Schubert-Pharma
at PACK EXPO International 2026
Flexible secondary packaging for every pharma product

From October 18 to 21, 2026, Schubert-Pharma will be at PACK EXPO International in Chicago – West Building, Booth W-22052, in the Healthcare Packaging Pavilion.

The focus is on a question that shapes many pharmaceutical projects: Which product is giving you the most trouble in secondary packaging right now?

Every product with its own demands

Vials, syringes, pens, BFS or combination kits – every pharmaceutical product comes with its own set of demands. A vial behaves differently from a prefilled syringe, a BFS card differently from a patient kit. And today, many lines are expected to handle several of them on the same machine.

What is waiting for you at our booth:

  • A live customer machine that ships straight to the end user in the US after the show
  • A look at our product range – from vials and syringes to BFS, combination kits and devices
  • A conversation about your specific product: What can be packaged, in which format, at which output

TLM cartoner for BFS cards

BFS cards rarely come in a single version: sometimes 30 pieces unpouched, sometimes 60 pieces in a flowpack, sometimes 60 without. Every variant means a format change – and every format change costs time you would rather spend producing. That is exactly what we built the machine we are bringing to Chicago for:

  • Formats 30 ct unpouched as well as 60 ct pouched and unpouched
  • Up to 120 cartons per minute
  • Top loading with 100 percent control through gripper technology and an AI-based vision system

Why top loading makes the difference with BFS:

  • Vertical, gentle loading instead of forcing the product into the carton
  • Reproducible product positioning for consistent process quality
  • Camera inspection from above after every loading step

One turnkey line, one point of contact

Five machines, five suppliers, five points of contact – who carries the responsibility when the line stops? Interfaces are the weak spot in many pharmaceutical projects. Every handover between two suppliers is a point where schedules slip and accountability gets blurry.

The cartoner we are bringing to Chicago is only part of the story. It belongs to a turnkey line made up of five machines:

  • LAS feeder system and Schubert picker line for product infeed
  • Herma labeler and Schubert flow packer for labelling and wrapping
  • Schubert TLM cartoner for forming, loading and closing the carton

Four of them ship directly to the customer in the US, only the cartoner takes the detour via the show. For the end user, that changes nothing: one contract partner, one project plan, one point of contact for the entire line.

Bring your product. Or just the question about it. Our experts will be happy to walk you through the machine and talk to you about your line before it continues its journey to the customer.

By the way: our colleagues from Schubert North America are exhibiting in parallel in the South Building, Booth S-3700 – with a Lightline Casepacker for muesli cartons. Worth the walk.
