The pens are fed unsorted into the machine’s bins via a conveyor belt.

A TLM-F4 robot picks up the pens from the tray and pre-groups them on a format plate of a Transmodul.

Flat cartons are stored in a magazine. A TLM-F3 robot picks up the flat blank from the magazine and presents it to the TLM-F2 robot. The TLM-F2 robot passes the blank over the glue nozzles and presses it through a forming die, thereby erecting the carton.

A TLM-F3 robot takes the partition from a TLM-F3 robot in the magazine, folds it at the appropriate position, rotates it, and glues it into the erected carton.

A TLM-F2 robot takes the products from the Transmodul and places them into the erected carton with partitions.

A TLM-F3 robot also picks up the package inserts from a magazine and presents them to the TLM-F2 robot. After code verification, the TLM-F2 robot places the inserts onto the products in the carton.

A TLM-F2 robot places the open carton onto a transfer table. There, another TLM-F2 robot closes the carton and places the sealed carton onto a turntable. The carton is rotated 180° to meet the requirements of the subsequent process.
