As part of its new service strategy, Schubert has divided its services into five key areas and supplemented its portfolio with different service packages. With this restructuring, the market leader in digital packaging machines is pursuing the goal of entirely avoiding downtimes and therefore unplanned service operations in the future. Marcel Kiessling, Managing Director of Sales, Service and Marketing at Gerhard Schubert GmbH, explains the new developments and describes his philosophy of a comprehensive customer-oriented package.

Schubert presents the Flowmodul at the FachPack

At the FachPack 2016, Schubert unveiled its new Flowmodul solution during a press conference. On the first day of the exhibition, Gerald Schubert presented the new Flowmodul to the many attending journalists. Schubert’s customers also took the opportunity to seee the novelty on the occassion of a separate event.

Schubert remains excellent

Schubert looks back on a very positive financial year. The entire Schubert Group recorded an increase in sales to approx. 300 million euros – setting a new record. At the same time, the company’s workforce continues to grow. The entire group of companies now employ 1,100 staff – which represents a 4 per cent increase compared to last year. Gerhard Schubert Verpackungsmachinen GmbH generated sales of 174 million euros in 2015. This represents yet another sales record for the acknowledged leader in the field of digital packaging machines in its 50th year of existence. The first quarter of 2016, with the best order volume since the company’s foundation, is already promising yet another very successful business year.

In January 2014, Schubert-Pharma was launched as a specialist team in pharmaceutical final packaging. Olaf Horrenberger, Managing Director of SPS Schubert Packaging Systems, explains the added-value, this think-tank has already achieved for their customers.
